Cowon O2 MP3 Player

Cowon(www.cowon.com) announced the launch of its flash memory-based PMP 'Cowon O2' in Korea market, which will be available on October 13th.

Adopting a 4.3-inch 16,000,000-color touch LCD screen, the Cowon O2 supports H.264 video codec and HD video playback with 1280*720 resolution. Measuring 119x73x18mm at 200g, it offers up to 8 hours of video playing and 18 hours of music playing time. Other features included T-DMB, DAB, voice recorder, image viewer, electronic dictionary function and more.

Coming with three different colors including white, black and pink, the Cowon O2 is available in standard, DMB or DIC versions.

SAFA MP3P

SAFA(www.safa.co.kr) launched its marshmallow-shaped mp3 player 'Xing' in Korea market, which comes in 8 different colors.

Equipped with 1GB of flash memory, the Xing supports 7 equalizer effects, standby and off-mode power consumption, and 5 hours of battery life.

Measuring 50mm*22mm*13mm at 12.2g, it is available in pink, violet, black, white, green, mix color and more.

sony VPL-EX50 LCD Projector Review

Sony is expanding its family of entry-level LCD front projectors with four new models, including its first compact widescreen version. Each is designed for commercial applications, and specifically suited for use in classrooms and conference rooms.

The new projectors represent the latest generation of Sony's VPL-E series. They range from the VPL-EX50 model with 2500 lumens to the VPL-EW5 widescreen, VPL-EX5 and VPL-ES5 models all with 2000 lumens each.

The VPL-EX50 and VPL-EX5 models offer native XGA 1024 by 768 resolution, while the VPL-ES5 unit features SVGA 800 by 600 resolution. For widescreen projection, the VPL-EW5 model has WXGA 1280 by 800 resolution. The design of each model's body shape broadens towards the front, and each automatically projects images upwards on the screen, requiring minimal tilt adjustment.

Sony VPL-FX40 Projector Review

Sony introduced its multimedia LCD projector 'VPL-FX40' at the infoComm08 in Las Vegas.

It features XGA resolution, 4000 ANSI Lumens brightness and networking functions. It is available for education, government, corporate, house of worship and hospitality applications, according to the company.
