Cowon Japan expects to release its flash memory-based PMP 'Cowon O2' in Japan market, which will be available on November 13th.

Adopting a 4.3-inch 16,000,000-color touch LCD screen, the Cowon O2
supports H.264 video codec and HD video playback with 1280*720
resolution. Measuring 119x73x18mm at 200g, it offers up to 8 hours of
video playing and 18 hours of music playing time. Other features
included T-DMB, DAB, voice recorder, image viewer, electronic

Measuring 11.5*73.4*18mm at 205g, the Cowon O2 comes with three different colors including white, black and pink.

INNO Design is going to release its new MP3 player 'INNO S Series' in Korea market on October 25.

Covered with rubber material, the INNO S Series offers soft feeling. Other features included FM radio, voice recorder, photo/text viewer and more.

Coming in three different colors including black, neon orange and lime green, S1 model will be available for 69,000(KRW) and S2 model equipped with LCD(48.26mm) display for video playback at 30fps available for 108,000(KRW).

Cowon(www.cowon.com) has presented its latest PMP 'P5' in Korea market.

Equipped with RMI Alchemy Au1250 700MHz processor and a 5-inch LCD color screen with 800*480 resolution, the Cowon P5 provides DMB, FM radio, voice recording, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB Wibro host, UCI(User Created Interface) functions.

Supporting up to 9 hours of video playing and 14 hours of music playing time, the P5 also enhanced its electronic dictionary functionality.

It comes in three different colors including black, platinum and red.

sony VPL-EX50 LCD Projector Review

Sony is expanding its family of entry-level LCD front projectors with four new models, including its first compact widescreen version. Each is designed for commercial applications, and specifically suited for use in classrooms and conference rooms.

The new projectors represent the latest generation of Sony's VPL-E series. They range from the VPL-EX50 model with 2500 lumens to the VPL-EW5 widescreen, VPL-EX5 and VPL-ES5 models all with 2000 lumens each.

The VPL-EX50 and VPL-EX5 models offer native XGA 1024 by 768 resolution, while the VPL-ES5 unit features SVGA 800 by 600 resolution. For widescreen projection, the VPL-EW5 model has WXGA 1280 by 800 resolution. The design of each model's body shape broadens towards the front, and each automatically projects images upwards on the screen, requiring minimal tilt adjustment.

KDDI unveiled its future concept handset 'PLY' inspired from the multi-layered plywood during CEATEC 2008. According to the company, this handset can be used commercially soon.

Sharp unveiled its ultra-slim premium LCD TV 'AQUOS XS1 Series' during CEATEC 2008, which features 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

With only 2.28cm thickness at its slimmest section, the AQUOS XS1 supports 150% color representation and 450 cd/m2 brightness.

It is expected to be available in Japan market on October 15th for 1,280,000(JPY) for 65-inch model and 980,000(JPY) for 52-inch model.
