LG to unveil a Blu-ray disc player BD300

The LG BD300 supports BD Live (BD-ROM Profile 2.0), which enables users to
connect to the internet and download video images, subtitles and other
data as well as enjoy related quizzes and multi-player interactive
games
. The BD300 features enhanced picture and sound quality, with
1080p Full HD resolution via HDMI connection. Dolby True HD and DTS-HD
are onboard for high bit-rate audio.

Enhanced versatility is another strong point of the BD300, which can
play back Blu-ray discs, DVDs and DivX movies. The BD300 saves time,
too, by performing the booting, loading and tray opening quicker than
rival Blu-ray disc players. LG's SIMPLINK connectivity also allows

capacity. The unit is compatible with MPEG4 video, JPEG, MP3, and WMA

LG to announce its new DivX certification DVD player DVS450H

LG Electronics today announced its new DivX certification DVD player 'DVS450H' capable of playing high-definition DivX video.

Incorporating a stylish and sleek design capable of being mounted on a
wall, the DVS450H, allows consumers to play their personal libraries of
high-definition digital content. With this device, consumers can enjoy
high-definition DivX videos burned to DVD's or stored on USB flash
drives. Typical HD video requires a considerable amount digital storage
space, but DivX HD video provides a superior media experience by
maintaining the highest visual quality while significantly reducing the
digital file size of the video. Using DivX technology, a full-length
high-definition movie is able to fit onto a standard DVD.

LG Electronics introduced MPEG-4 build-in TV 'LG5500' at IFA 2008,

DVB-T or MPEG-2 standards. No additional set top box or special wiring
is required

LG LCD TV Scarlet LG6100

The Scarlet LG6100 is as attractive as a work of art hanging in a gallery. With just 1.7-inch thickness, it adopts LG's new wall mount technology that makes it look even more slender by minimizing the space between the TV and the wall to less than 1 inch. And its power indicator surrounded by red LED lights with soft touch sensor and glossy façade accentuate the beauty of the product.

Blending distinctive design with smart technologies, the Full HD LG6100 is equipped with LG's advanced features such as Intelligent Sensor, which adjusts the brightness and the color characteristics of the display based on the room lighting conditions to create the best viewing experience.

The New LG plasma TV 'PG7000'

The PG7000, available in 50- and 60-inch sizes, is built around a 1080p full HD panel for the ultimate high resolution experience, especially when coupled with a high definition video source like a Blu-Ray player or next-generation video game console. Colour depth is amazingly realistic with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, also meaning that blacks are accurately represented.

The experience is further enhanced by a 100 Hz refresh rate and 0.001 ms response time, both of which ensure that the TV can keep up with even the fastest action movie, sporting event or video game. These also work to eliminate flicker and make the TV comfortable to watch for extended periods without causing eye strain.

HFD 1080p LCD TV series Scarlet LG7000

LG Electronics announced the global launch of its most sophisticated full HD 1080p LCD TV series 'Scarlet LG7000' during IFA 2008, which incorporates all of LG's state-of-the-art technologies.

Built around a full HD 1080p LCD panel, the Scarlet LG7000 optimizes the picture to Cinema, Sports and Game Modes. The Expert Mode certified by the ISF(Imaging Science Foundation) Picture Quality Calibration Institution, makes it possible to finely tune the picture at a professional level. On cinema mode, the response time is 2.7 milliseconds. And 50,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio enables blacks to be darker, whites to be brighter and colors to be more vibrant.

LG's Clear Voice technology alters sound balance to emphasize human voices and reduce the background noise by recognizing human voice frequency (100Hz-12kHz). For the best sound quality, the Scarlet LG7000 included invisible speakers specially tuned by renowned audio expert Mr. Mark Levinson.

With a USB 2.0 connection, it is easy to access to MP3 files and connect a memory card reader to the TV and create an onscreen slideshow from JPEG files or watch digital video files, a feature unique to LG. Four HDMI 1.3 ports allow for fully digital video and audio connections for devices like DVD players, cable boxes and game consoles. This eliminates any interference like color banding and creates a deeper, more vivid image.

Red accents on the slim and sharp side line with soft channel and volume buttons adds style, along with a glossy black sheen finish that gives a classy appearance. Together with its breathing LED light and soft touch power button in the front, the mystic crystal line and elegant curve like a tear drop create an image not unlike a sophisticated woman in a timeless black suit wearing a diamond necklace.
